Welcome to 2014. This year started off right with a great day of climbing. New Year's Eve was spent around a campfire at the trailhead, and then, in the dark on January 1st, we headed up Vesper Peak. While Seattle lay in fog we enjoyed perfect weather. The snow was untouched. A fun snow chute and impressive relief made for great climbing. It was a nice way to greet the new year.
